As the weather grows warmer and the daylight hours are extended – I wonder if you might like to help us take care of our garden. The children are actively encouraged to take ownership of the garden and its wellbeing and we encourage you share this interest with them.

Pauline has just planted tomatoes, capsicums, cucumbers, lettuce, zucchini, garlic and everlasting daisy’s – these are more the flower picking opportunities.

You will notice a chart below this note on the whiteboard – if you water or weed or pick some produce when it’s ready – please write it down. It helps everyone to track what has been given love and which areas are in need of some love……..

By engaging in the garden we are all supporting the children’s development through the learning opportunities provided in gardening.
